We are delighted that the new Parkin Sports Centre at Loughborough Schools Foundation has been shortlisted in The Charnwood Design Awards 2019!
The Sports Centre includes a multi-use Sports Hall, Fitness Suite with strength and cardio equipment, a Dance Studio and brand new Changing Rooms. There is space for traditional team games such as Hockey and Netball, and by the introduction of Badminton, Volleyball, Trampolining, Table Tennis, and Basketball, the school aims to attract more students into a team environment. A dedicated space for Dance, Cheerleading, Gymnastics and general fitness combined with a Fitness Suite, offer opportunities to all students to find something that engages them, which will set a pattern of physical activity for life.
The awards recognise the excellent work of building owners, agents and contractors on a wide range of developments and conservation projects in the Borough.
Previously, A+G Architects design for Hall Orchard Primary School in Barrow upon Soar was highly commended in The Charnwood Design Awards 2017.
