The scheme calls for a large private replacement dwelling set within the Green Belt. The design was deliberately contemporary in style using render, timber cladding, brickwork and terne coated standing seam roofing, taking advantage of the open views across the extensive garden and open countryside.

 

The central double height living area was designed as the central focus of the house with exposed beams, a full height glazed wall facing the rear garden and sliding partitions to enable the space to be subdivided. Other features include a large open plan kitchen and family room with a full height curved glass wall and wine cellar.
